Petite Amie - 2018 Airstream Bambi Sport

We had a great time in this Airstream camping at Nahelem Bay State Park. Owners were super informative and provided understandable instructions. Only trouble encountered was a difficult to use entry/exit door due, in part, to a screw that loosened during travel. Would rent again.

I have two reviews. The first is for the owners and the second is for outdoorsy. The owners, Bibi and Rick were beyond amazing. During booking and prior to departure, Bibi was extremely responsive. She always got back to us immediately and was very helpful. The trailer was well stocked and clean. Rick spent two hours orienting us to the trailer when we picked it up. He was very thorough and patient. This was our first experience with a travel trailer of any kind. Unfortunately on day one we had some equipment failure (not the fault of the owners) which left us stranded on the side of the road. Rick helped us problem solve and eventually provided the technical assistance required to fix the problem after outdoorsy let us down. I can not say enough nice things about him and his skill and ability.
My other comments are about outdoorsy "road side assistance". We needed a mobile unity to help us repair our problem. Their central dispatching is in Texas and they say they have vendors in each state to help with problems. Our first contact with road side assistance was at 1:00. A technician finally returned my call two hours later. They said they would work on finding a mobile technician in Oregon and get back to me. Five and 1/2 hours later (8:30 pm) they called me back. During that time we had found and purchased the two parts we needed and the owner drove to us and fixed the problem. Not only was outdoorsy roadside assistance worthless, this situation could have been down right dangerous. Although we did not have brakes or brake lights we were able to drive home rather than sit on the side of the road in 90+ degree heat for 5 hours. More important we had the good fortune of having an owner who was able to do technical electrical repair work or we would have been in deep trouble. Outdoorsy needs to assure it's customers that they have vendors that can be accessed at any time to prevent serious disaster.

A great little Airstream with super-friendly owners! We had a blast at the stormy coast enduring wind, rain, hail, and lightening - all the while loving the almost-new 22' Bambi Sport. Would rent again!

Everything was perfect. It was actually better than we expected. Would highly recommend.
