YOUcamp is a "like new" clam-shell style teardrop camper just perfect for two and light enough to tow behind a small SUV, pickup or an awesome Subaru Outback like our tow vehicle! We love that the clamshell kitchen keeps the cooking (and the odors) on the outside (heck, that's why you're camping in the first place, right? ...to get outside!)The "fit and finish" of this rig is awesome, from the Ohio Amish made cabinets to the two TV's, the stereo (with 4 speakers...2 inside, 2 outside!), the built-in solar panel for battery re-charging to the high quality fun and relaxation you'll have!We also offer a number of useful optional add-ons like our pop-up shade awning, a full set of tools, our rooftop storage container (for a tow vehicle with standard luggage rack, a bluetooth brake controller, wireless backup camera/monitor and our chef-used kitchen set. Of couse, included are all the necessary items like our 15' sewer hose, 15' clean water hose, and 25' 30 Amp electrical service cord (power management system is on-board, so no need for an external breaker).Note: you Must have a 7 pin round connector to your tow vehicle to rent this trailer -- this is non-negotiable as it is Required for the trailer's braking system!
What's included15' sewer hose, 15' clean water hose, and 25' 30 Amp electrical service cord (power management system is on-board, so no need for an external breaker), levelling blocks, powered tongue jack, hand crank and 3/8" drill attachment for use with stablizers.Other things to notePlease do note that this trailer REQUIRES a 7 pin connector (it does not support a 4 pin connector) which will facilitate battery charging while in transit as well as facilitate use of the trailer brakes (we can rent you a bluetooth brake controller if you need one).We also heartily recommend you bring with you a 3/8" drill which you can use with our included Scissor Jack Slotted Drill Attachment to make quick work of the deployment and retraction of the stabilizers (the hand crank works fine but, frankly, is a bit of a pain in the posterior to use!). We also offer our Ryobi 3/8" drill for rental as an add-on.

Meet your host, Mitchell

Member since 2020

We are transplants to the Valley of the Sun (having moved here from being lifelong midwesterners) and we love it here. There are so many great outdoor activities and camping in our teardrop trailer has become a key part of our lifestyle. We love all sorts of spectator sports, golf, hiking, kayaking and spending time with friends!

This was a perfect fit for our trip. The owner is very helpful and flexible with pickup and drop off.

The perfect teardrop! Had a great weekend taking it to the Sonoran desert for a mountain bike weekend. It received a ton of compliments - the kitchen off the back is perfect for cooking dinner under the lights or making coffee in the morning while still enjoying the outdoors. In general, it feels super spacious with the bathroom, sitting area, lots of drawers, etc. while still being compact enough to easily tow behind our 4Runner. Mitchell was super flexible with pick-up/drop-off times and helpful in telling us everything we needed to know as first-time renters. Now we want to buy one!!!

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
Here is a pretty helpful Technician walkthrough video for the 2020 T@B 320 CS/S: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ji9QyV4xl78 Note that ours is a Boondock edition but there are really no meaningful differences with respect to how the primary systems work!

Q.The listing says "pet friendly", are there any pet restrictions?
A.
We wish there was an option for "dog friendly" to be more precise. We are dog people so we have no problem with dogs; Cats, however, are a major problem as one of the owners has a severe allergy to cats...so sorry, no cats allowed!

Q.Do I really need a 7 pin round connector or can I just use a 4 pin to 7 pin adaptor?
A.
Yes you DO need the 7 pin round connector. The old 4 pin connector only connects your lights to the trailer's. It DOES not support electronic brakes (which this trailer has!) or auxiliary power. In mountains, at high speeds or in high winds it is a HUGE safety risk to go without the trailer brakes. ...and you won't charge the batteries while in transit. We WILL NOT rent this unit to ANYONE w/o the round, 7-pin connector.

Q.Can I use a 4 pin to 7 pin adaptor?
A.
Absolutely not! You MUST have the 7 pin round connector installed into your electrical system on your tow vehicle. Using a 4 pin to 7 pin adaptor does not provide the braking and battery charging functionality that the "installed" 7 pin adaptor does. We WILL NOT rent this unit to anyone using a 4 pin to 7 pin adaptor!
