September 20221

The rv was perfect , until I got to my destination and relized that NONE of the amenities listed were provided.
We went to an event that had zero re entry , so we stocked the fridge with 200 dollars worth of groceries ,unable to cook them because there was no pots or pans. There was no towels for showering, nothing. We were in a location of really bad service, so it was hard to reach out about the issue. After using the events wifi that was provided by staff, I was able to reach Julio and he wanted to bring us the items personally. That was very nice however, we were 3 miles deep into the park so we couldn't just walk to the front , and you would of needed a ticket to get into all the gates making it impossible to bring our things. ( we pinned the GPS located in a text to show proof that that service would be unavailable and they are claiming i denied the service. )
After 2 days of contacting the staff at the event we were granted a re entry pass, with that we bought a broom, towels, kitchenware etc so we could finish our trip properly and comfterably wich is why we rented an RV to begin with ,to have a lush camping experience.
I asked to be refunded for the inconvenience as well as the materials purchased and gas ( LA TRAFFIC WITH RV) wich is about 25 percent of the trip . the owner escalated the issue and made up lies about the rv being in worse condition then we got it in. We have photos and videos with time stamps of when we got the RV and the conditions , getting it and bringing it back. If any issues would be true they would have been mentioned upon drop off. Julio just apologized for this inconvenience , never mentioned any other issues.
They left me a one star review stating i wanted a full refund wich isn't true. I have proof of the dispute only asking 25 percent.
and then they proceeded to tell us that some kind of panel under the bed was broken. Also not true - didn't even know there's a panel there ? Also nothing broken in photos ...
they then told me to never contact them again being extremely rude when all i wanted was a fair resolution.

Julio’s answer

I’d like to once again, apologize for the mistake that our detail shop made by not putting back the pot and pan, and the three towels that we promised in our listing. Those were the only items that were missing. You had everything else, including cooking utensils, a fully stocked restroom with toilet paper, soaps and shampoo, you also had a fully stocked kitchen with paper towels, and a coffee machine and plenty of coffee, pods and sugar and salt and pepper and disposable cutlery and all the cleaning products you would need to help yourself. Again, the only items that were missing were three towels for your shower and two pots for cooking. During our conversation, I was ready to bring you the items and I was more than willing to drive three hours to bring you these items, and for whatever reason you may have, you declined the service because you said the neighbors next to you had offered to loan you pots and pans. You indicated that the items that were missing were not a big priority because you were also in the middle of some really bad weather and you’d be able to get through your camping trip without those items. I did again ask suggest to you that I can come out to you when the weather got better or at your convenience, but you again refused to get the items delivered to you. That is all that I could do on my end and I think I did everything that I could to fulfill your needs. I also was granting you a discount on the rental, but you kept arguing on text messages that it really made no sense to give a disgruntled renter discount and just take a bad review. Here I am confessing that I did everything I could to fulfill your needs and you declined every attempt I made to come out and bring you the missing items, so it really just comes down to you and your decision to escalate the claim and again I’m assuming because I know a lot of renters that have done this before to get a full refund. I was able to accommodate a discount for your rental and after you started arguing and bickering over text messages, I decided that there was no need for that and I still refuse to give you any type of discount. I will never rent any of our vehicles to you because I already know what you’re aiming at in regards to discounts or getting a free rental. I should’ve charged you for a deep cleaning of the vehicle because you turned it in smelling like a incense bar, and some renters are very sensitive to their liking of different smells, the RV will be out of service for the next three weeks so that it can air out whatever you were burning in there and also the damages that were caused in the storage compartment I did not make a big deal about that along with the stickers that were smeared all over the windshield and so for that reason, I will never rent any of our vehicles to you again. Thanks again for trying, but I surely did try to do the right thing throughout the entire rental process. But let’s not forget that you were very demanding when we had already arranged a time to pick you up from the airport. You did messages demanding to pick you up earlier and that was too last-minute of a notice, your text messages were pretty brutal and demanding. The same thing happened when it was time to drop you off at the airport. We had a specific time agreed with you and you also started sending messages so that we can pick up the vehicle sooner and again we were not able to accommodate your last minute request but we did everything in our power to get there so that you would not miss your flight and luckily we made it earlier than originally planned. I hope that you can appreciate the fact that our team did went out of their way to accommodate your drop off times in your pick up times and also be courteous and respectful, responding to all your messages that were very cruel and Demanding. Please keep in mind that we are also people just like you and we deserve respect when communicating back-and-forth so I hope you don’t do that to the next RV owner that you come across. I wish you luck and if Outdoorsy wants to give you some kind of discount. I am totally OK with whatever they want to do but there is nothing that I am willing to do for you any more. For that you also get a bad review I’m sorry to say.

The RV was awesome. It is brand new, has all the features including a large fridge, 3 burner gas stove, powerful AC (worked great in our 110 weather), table, chairs etc. It is also relatively quieter than other RVs and much better fuel efficiency. Julio was very easy to work, flexible and quick to reply. Very happy to rent from him. Until next time!

We loved this RV! It was perfect for our 5 day family trip to Bug Sur! Everything was spotless and functioning properly. Julio had prepared games and sleeping bags for our kids, he was so thoughtful, accommodating and great with communicating. The only thing I would recommend for the next renter is to bring some tape and paper bags to cover the moon roofs. The light in the morning was super bright and it helped keep the kids asleep a little longer by using our make-shift light blockers :-) The RV kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The fridge is clean and spacious. It took us a minute to figure out the night mode but if you use that it won’t beep notifying you the battery is low. We will absolutely rent this RV again for our next camping adventure!
THANK YOU!!!
