Meet "Lucy", our 20 ft Airstream Flying Cloud FB in perfect condition. Modern, white oak interior with gray-beige accents paired with the classic Airstream aluminum interior and exterior.The 20FB is Airstream's most desirable (and difficult to find) layout, as it is small enough to tow with most SUVs and trucks, but offers many more features beyond a typical "Bambi" model - including:
- full bathroom with separate shower, toilet, and sink
- full-size memory foam mattress bed in the front ("FB") of the Airstream with wrap-around panoramic windows with blackout shades
- comfortable, convertible dinette with Ultraleather fabric that serves as dining area, sofa, and 2nd bed
- 2 large windows over the dinette, allowing in more natural light than other 16-20 ft Airstream models
- known for its expansive counter space, perfect for gourmet cooking
- top-level trim package (now known as "Caravel") including spring-action upper cabinet lockers, ducted AC, rock guards, and electric tongue jack

Q.How do I deal with the "gray" and "black" tanks?
A.
It's really not that hard. "Lucy" has an advanced tank level (% full) monitoring system for how full each of the 3 tanks are: fresh water, gray, and black. "Gray" water is collected from shower and sink drains - it is not potable and usually just a little soapy. "Black" water is collected from the toilet (sewage) and is kept in a separate tank. There is an exterior gray/black connector and hose (stored under the trailer in separate compartment) that connects to a sewer hook-up or dump station.
Q.How complicated is it to operate "Lucy" the Airstream once set-up to camp?
A.
Not hard at all. We provide printed, detailed instructions on how to operate each of the main systems: electrical, AC/heat, plumbing, and also solar/battery power and fresh water pump if "off the grid" or during lunch or potty stops while en route to your destination (this is a major road trip luxury - no more gas station bathrooms!). We are also available via phone and text during your rental should you have any questions or need assistance.
Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
We are pretty flexible and willing to deliver and set-up within a 90-mile radius of St. Petersburg, FL. For longer-term rentals of 2+ weeks or more, we can expand that distance a bit. Send us a message with specifics of your request.
Q.Can I tow "Lucy" the Airstream with my own vehicle?
A.
We don’t typically allow others to tow "Lucy", but could consider in very specific situations - please inquire with details. “Lucy” is a 20 ft Airstream Flying Cloud that weighs approximately 5,000 lbs (GVWR) with a hitch weight of 631 lbs. Your vehicle needs a 2 inch (Class 3 or higher) receiver, 7-pin (not 4-pin) connector, and brake controller device. Common vehicles that can tow "Lucy" are: Chevy Tahoe, Dodge Durango, Ford F150 or similar. We tow with a VW Touareg (7,700 lbs).
