Our favorite thing to do in Colorado is to explore the different mountain passes and primitive camping areas like the Rimrocker trail that runs from Montrose to Moab or the Ouray mountain basin.There are plenty of ski resorts like Winter Park, Arapahoe Basin and Loveland where the snowy mountains go perfect with a cup of hot chocolate after a day on the slopes. There are a plethora of hiking trails in the area like the ever popular Red Rocks, which would also be the perfect place to tailgate before one of our famous concerts.There are dozens of breweries and wineries in the Denver area, like Balistreri downtown, Breckenridge brewery in Littleton, and Salt and Acres winery in Fort Lupton.Closer to the western slopes, the fishing is phenomenal, as well as the hunting if that fits your fancy. All we ask is that any fish you catch go in a different ice chest as opposed to the refrigerator. Other things to noteNo pets allowed.
