Great 31 Ft Jayco Redhawk 31XL.A set of bunk beds, double slides, and a front cab bunk are some of the features that you will love about the 31XL Redhawk class C motor home by Jayco. As you enter the motor home, to the right you can enjoy your meals around the dinette, the opposite side has a slide with a sofa, microwave, three burner range, and overhead cabinet. You will also find adequate counter space and a double kitchen sink. To the left of the entry door you will find a refrigerator.
The bathroom has a shower, toilet, and sink.
In the rear bedroom there is a queen bed, and slide with a wardrobe and a set of bunk beds.
You will also find a cab over bunk and overhead TV.
There are plenty of overhead cabinets throughout the motor home as well as exterior storage, and more! This RV is a newer model class “C” motorhome that our family loves. The RV runs great, has lots of adult sleeping spaces as well as kid sleeping, and comes with 8 seat belts for all - which is something lots of RVs don't have. There are two slide-outs for increased living and sleeping areas (see photos) - which is super and different from most rental companies. There is an easy to use attached awning. The RV is easy to drive as it has an automatic transmission, and with a Ford E-450, there is plenty of power to make it up any hill. The RV sleeps up to 6 adults, and up to 8 total people, with private sleeping areas provided by two partitions and curtains for the bunk beds and the above the cab sleeping area. Great for families, multiple couples, etc. as there is the following sleeping for 8:
-a master queen bed (with memory foam topper, which makes this bed extremely comfortable) that sleeps 2 (60x75)
-a top bunk bed (27x72 inches long)
-a bottom bunk bed (27x72 inches long)
-a sleeping area over the cab that can sleep 2 (54x87)
-sleeping on the fold down sofa (40x60, can be slept on diagonally if needed)
-sleeping on the fold down kitchen area (42x68, can be slept on diagonally if needed)The RV comes with the following item(s):
- 4000 Watt quiet generator
- Microwave, oven, and stove
- Kitchen and bathroom sinks
- Pots, pans, and cooking utensils
- Bedding

The RV was nothing like the description. It was very dirty and everything in the cupboards were unorganized. We showed up and one of the tires was almost flat, the owner said it was still safe to drive on as we were only going a few miles away. He then filed a damage report saying it was our fault. The AC unit made a loud screeching noise to the point it could not be used it was so loud. The water pump shook the entire RV when it was turned on. The driver side and passenger side mirrors are held in place by cardboard . The owners have not clue if a spare or jack is even with the RV. So many more little issues with this RV, rent at your own risk. You will be very disappointed.
Richard’s answer
Every host should know going in to this you will get the certain guest(s) that want to figure out a way they can possibly get out of the financial commitment.
In our opinion these 4 guys that took the RV to Legend valley music center had a plan to try to get out of Payment before they even got in the RV.
Outdoorsy sided with us when they want to request a full refund because of the pics and video we had. So make sure as host you cover your butt with renters.
The walk through video shows the wheel was fine and we sent the video to Outdoorsy.
Somehow the driver side exterior dual tire had 3 massive holes high on the sidewall. The technician that came out after they left it, because they said they had to leave at 730am on Sunday to go home, said somebody basically put a screwdriver on purposefully.
These guys called on Saturday at 4pm to say it had a flat and the roadside assistance could get there that night. So we let them leave it and we went and took care of it. These guys thrashed it, left a ton of trash and a griddle at the venue.
The AC is fine and water pump is also fine. No issues with either.
This guy is just a scammer and this experience almost makes me want to not rent again which hurts legitimate people that are trying to rent RVs this way.
Be a deligent host. You can always refute renters at time of pick up if you sense they are trying to take you for a ride.
Again, thanks to outdoorsy for remediating situation, hosts video and pictures are a must.
