Syd, is a well maintained, stick shift (manual transmission) VW camper van. Classic look and fun to drive and camp in. Two can sleep on a fold down and two can sleep in the upper pop up top. Fun for kids, adults or anyone looking to enjoy the VW camper life.What's includedEverything you need for a picnic or campsite. A large and easy to assemble awing to set that camping mood. We've included camp chairs, coleman stove, kitchen and cleaning essentials, etc... pls feel free to ask for the long list of items included that will save you time preparing for and packing. We've got you covered!RecommendationsCamping, wineries, car shows, outdoor concerts, drive-ins, beaches, or weddings. Best suited for drives 1-2 hours (minimal highway) with an occasional rest period to cool down in the extra hot temperatures.Other things to noteLong distance driving is not recommended. We ask that final destinations be no further than 4 hours round trip, allowing for an overnight rest stop. Best suited driving 1-2 hours at a time.
Please consider staying in the Norfolk or Oxford areas. Beautiful roads to drive along and delivery to and from your home or destination can be discussed.

Kelly and Shaun were amazingly helpful and responsive. We were the coolest campers on the road and campsite thanks to their awesome vehicle. It was by far the most fun camping experience yet. We would definitely book it again. Thanks so much!!!

Kelly and Shaun were amazing from start to finish! They were communicative, friendly and explained everything in detail. The van was so clean and well maintained - clearly loved very much. My kids and I had such a great time camping at the Pinery in “Syd”!

“Do more of what makes your soul happy!”
From the very beginning of our adventure..the first contact online to the actual event of renting their wonderful little Westfalia camper van, Kelly and Shaun were friendly welcoming, informative and supportive. From driving the van, to figuring out what was what and what was where to even the added touch of a S’mores kit, every detail however small did not disappoint. I have always wanted to rent a Westfalia VW camper van before buying one and our experience with Syd was definitely a giant step towards that! Thanks to Syd for performing so well and to Kelly and Shaun for not only providing us with the opportunity to make my dream come true but for walking us through every step and for even offering us support during our journey. With this trip we were , for sure, doing more of what makes our souls happy! I even had my fiddle lesson on FaceTime while in the camper. Camping with a Westfalia VW camper van is in our blood now! We will absolutely rent Syd from Kelly and Shaun again. Thank you both so much!
