Explore beautiful BC with a classic retro feel in our pride and joy, Van-Morrison.
The van sleeps two adults (plus a baby/toddler - see below). There are six seats in total (driver, co-pilot and four side-facing rear seats) with four seat belts (two up front and two in the rear).
Spacious dining area at the back of the truck so you can look out at the beautiful surroundings whilst you eat, drink and relax - our favorite feature!
The dining area converts to the bedroom quickly and easily.
There is a fitting side awning to make the most of al fresco dining.
The van holds a range of cooking and eating utensils, an Aeropress, (which makes delicious coffee with little effort), tea bags, a small selection of condiments and basic foods (for emergencies!) and cleaning tools.
3-way fridge with a mini freezer.
Bluetooth adapter for hands-free calling or to add your own playlist of road trip tunes.
The power sockets in the back have built-in USB connections and all the lights are fitted with energy-saving LED bulbs.
The van is powered by the mighty, time-tested, Chrysler 5.2L 318 engine.
AC, power steering and cruise control to make driving Van-Morrison a pleasure.
There is space for a baby/toddler if you don't mind them sleeping with you (that's what we do!) or have a bassinette for them to sleep in. As car seats must be front-facing for safety, baby will have to ride up with the driver and any other passengers will need to go in the back seats.

What a lovely travel with Marten's van ! The car is well equiped to cook and sleep, and the size of the vehicle is really appreciable to drive and Park. And don't forget, in case of need : "the magic trick with the stick"! It saved us :-) Thank you Marten

We had a great time in this lovely old van! Marten was incredibly helpful and did everything to make sure we had a fun and relaxing time. This is a van to enjoy at a slow and steady pace; it's great for admiring the view as you drive and very comfortable for driver and passenger. Accommodation is good and we had everything we needed to explore BC. Would recommend and would love to rent again one day.

Q.Can you collect me and drop me off at Vancouver airport?
A.
Absolutely! We do charge an extra $50 for this service (on top of the usual $100 delivery fee) as it requires us to be a bit more flexible if arrival and departure times change, and we need to pay airport parking fees.
Q.What toilet facilities are there in the van?
A.
There is a standard porta-potty, which can be used inside or moved outside. We consider this a backup/emergency option! Feel free to use it, but if you do please dispose of the waste (instructions provided at pick-up) before returning the van. Used, non-emptied porta-pottys will incur a $100 extra fee.
Q.How long do handovers take?
A.
Please allow one hour to do the pre-trip handover and test drive, and 30 minutes to do the return handover.
