Angela got a replacement van the same day.Kate W. There were no issues with the van when I canceled this, I got offered to work on a TV show in Toronto for 5 months and drove across Canada in August and back in January.Benjamin: On the morning of the rental, the radiator failed the day Benjamin picked up the van. This is the first mechanical issue that I have experienced before or during a rental. The van is now fixed and it has been fully inspected and approved by my mechanic to go on long road trips again.I have taken the van on a long trip since the repairs and it is driving great, I have also had a 3 week booking and another 2 weeks booking go out without any troubles. Q.What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?
A.
Possible, but usually delivery and pick up is unavailable for this vehicle. I am centrally located in downtown Vancouver which makes it very convenient for most people to get to me, even if you're flying into Vancouver you can get the train from the airport to very close-by.

Q.Are there any special tricks and tips that would help with operating the RV easily?
A.
The most tricky part of the van is the pop-up roof. I will go over the entire vans operation on pick up and make sure you feel 100% comfortable before you drive away.

Q.Is this vehicle heated?
A.
As this is a class B camper, there is no fitted heating for camping. Of course, the heating and cooling works when the van is running, like normal car. You can run the van with the heat of to take the edge off the cold. Once you are in bed the covers usually keep you warm enough. Alternatively I do have an inside safe propane heater that is available to rent for $25. It is not advised to run while sleeping, but to warm up the van while you are awake and until you go to sleep, if needed.

Q.Is there air-conditioning?
A.
The front of the vehicle has air conditioning that works when the engine is running. As a class-B Camper van, there is no auxiliary air-conditioning. For summer camping, I provide 2 fans that can be plugged in or on battery power that can be mounted near the bed. The van is well ventilated, I've never found it too hot to sleep, I usually just turn the fan on when the sun comes up in the morning or if I'm napping in the daytime, if it's really hot.
