2000 Chinook Concourse
This is my 2nd Chinook. I put 300,000 miles on my first one and I saw every state in the country! I am slowing down a bit and I am willing to share this excellent class B RV. It is easy to handle, has a Ford V10 gas engine and parks in a single parking space...my 77 year old mom can drive it without stress. The Trailwagons Chinook is a discontinued RV brand, but it was a top of the class small RV made in Yakima, Washington for decades. It sold for over $100,000 new, with every available feature at the time, solar power and an on board generator for "boondocking". It has comfortable sleeping options for two, a twin bed and a converted twin over the dinette. I have engineered a very comfortable expansion of the twin to a full for snuggling and room for an additional child if needed. There is a lot of storage, with room in the fridge and freezer for $200 in groceries! It has a three burner gas stove and oven with a microwave too, double sink with Corain countertops! Friends often try to coax me into their home to sleep, fearing I am more comfortable "indoors", but I am like a dog in my crate, I love my bed, hot shower and convenience knowing my things are always within reach. What's includedThis RV has been my home for months at a time, so it is fully stocked with paper plates, all cookware, cooking utensils and cutlery for anything you might need...ice cream scooper, etc! The sheets are fresh and onboard, with towels and pillows too, if you don't want to bring your own, just let us know which you prefer. I even have two sets of expandable hiking sticks and a backgammon board if you need a competitive night by the fire. RecommendationsI am an artist and a wanderer who loves people and places! I am spending more time in one place these days to raise our 9 year old daughter. I have spent the last 25 years on the road in one of my two Chinooks, showing my artwork all over this country! I can tell you a great state or national park, an incredible restaurant and a clean laundromat off every major interstate exit! My home is Vicksburg, Mississippi and locally we have the Vicksburg National Military Park which brings almost 800,000 tourists a year. The park preserves the site of the Civil War Battle of Vicksburg. The park includes 1,325 historic monuments and markers and a 16 mile road tour with the restored USS Cairo gunboat. This park also has a 12 mile walking trail and its roads are used by many cyclists out for a challenging ride of step hills! Regionally, the Mississippi Delta, just to the north of Vicksburg appeals to many Blues music fans for Blues music festivals from Clarksdale to Memphis and this is the perfect RV to wander the Delta looking for musical, literary or culinary...tamale and BBQ, experiences! Other things to noteI am open to considering well mannered dogs, as long as you accept there are additional cleaning fees and security deposits, but no cats please. I am very allergic!

The RV only had one issue.. the driver side mirror wasn’t functioning but we managed to secure it with duct tape.
