We had a wonderful time enjoying Maui in the van. We took it up to Haleakalā, the Road to Hana, and west Maui. We traveled with our two young kids. They slept on the bottom bed and we took the pop up which was surprisingly comfortable and roomy enough for my husband who is 6’ 2”. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals for a family of four. There was also sufficient space to eat around the table.

Everything was perfect! Lee had the campervan ready for us at the airport and gave us a tour so we felt comfortable operating the vehicle! Everything was clean and in great order! We loved being able to explore Maui...from the Road to Hana and camping at the Kipahulu campground to exploring Haleakala at sunset and sunrise, this van had everything we needed to be comfortable for our family of 4! We loved it! Would highly recommend using a camper van to explore the island and use as your home base!

10/10 experience! This was my home for a week and I didn't want to part ways with it by the end! I had no issues with the van whatsoever, all functions working well and it provided me with everything I needed to be comfortable living on the road and sleeping at the camp grounds. Having never driven a vehicle of this size, I was a little nervous to operate it, especially to take on The Road to Hana. Lee went out of his way to make sure I felt comfortable driving it (even went for a test drive with me around the neighborhood). After the first day or two, I got used to the size and felt confident driving around the whole island (maintaining common sense and caution in certain situations :)). I can't say enough about Lee's hospitality and generosity. Don't think twice about renting this van for your Maui adventures, best way to explore the island!!

Lee’s van was absolutely amazing! Truly a home on wheels. We picked it up and it was spotlessly cleaned. Lee gave us a rundown of everything we needed to know about the van which was very helpful. Van is very spacious and has all the amenities you need and then some. Drives great, did the road to Hana and what seemed like every other narrow winding road on the island with it. Lee’s hospitality is unmatched. Cannot recommend this van enough, truly the best way to see the entire island. Side note, highly recommend using Hipcamp to find affordable places to camp throughout the island, as we found that the Maui government campgrounds were hard to book and less maintained.
