RecommendationsWe are New England natives who deeply adore our corner of the country–so we can’t wait to share our favorite recommendations with you.You could head north to hike, ski, and explore the Green Mountains of Vermont or the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Perhaps you will tour local breweries, try fresh seafood in a cute coastal town, or cook your own meal under a starry night sky. A trip west to the Berkshires of Massachusetts will bring beautiful hiking trails, lakes, culture, and art. And a drive up the coast of Maine will take you through the town of Portland with its cobblestone streets and scenic waterfront views, on your way to the stunning Acadia National Park. This van was made for adventure, so exploring New England with Casita is the ideal way to have the vacation of a lifetime.
Other things to note- Casita has two-wheel drive and low clearance and so the vehicle should never be driven on off-roads, closed roads, or restricted roads.- Do not climb on top of the roof; stepping on the roof will cause cracks/leaks in the ceilings, and walking on the solar panels will break them :(- There is a strict no smoking or vaping policy. Don't lose your security deposit!- Please do not leave the interior space cold for long in winter, as the battery can only be charged above freezing point. The water system also needs to stay above the freezing point as well; a short period of time is not a problem, but it’s best to keep the interior above freezing point in general.- IMPORTANT: Casita has a HIGH ROOF and so cannot make it underneath anything less than 9’. This means no drive thrus or small bridges. Please please please be aware of this and cautious as you drive our tiny home to your amazing adventures.- Oil Change: If you drive the van further than 5,000 miles, we ask that you have the van’s oil changed, or else you will forfeit the security deposit. Engine health is serious business! We are happy to discuss this further and help with these logistics if you plan on a long-distance adventure. :)When returning the van:
1. Please make sure the gas is filled to the same level as when it was picked up, (a $7.00 per gallon fee will be charged to fill up the tank).
2. Please empty the toilet, both solid and liquid waste (a $100 fee will be charged if the toilet is not returned empty).

My husband and I recently rented Mike and Kelly's van "Casita" for a trip from Maine to Ontario to visit family. This rental was so helpful and such fun!

Everything went smoothly and we had a great time. Mike's build is well done and there weren't any problems. Everything was clean when we arrived and the orientation was thorough. I would rent from Mike again.

My partner and I (and pup!) rented the van for a weekend getaway to Acadia National Park. To say we enjoyed our time in Casita is an understatement. The hosts were so thoughtful in every detail from providing basic necessities like coffee and tea, to the plumbing and electrical system that were easy to learn and utilize (nothing like having a toilet on-the-go!). The van itself was easy to drive and comfortable.
Would rent again in a heartbeat for our next adventure!

We had the best time in this van and didn’t want to give it back - that’s how much we loved it.
Mike & Kelly were so easy to communicate with, super flexible with pick up and return times and checked in throughout the trip. The care and thought they’ve put into their van really shows and meant we had the best experience in a campervan we’ve ever had!
This campervan has everything we needed for our 9 day trip. They provided everything we could think of (toilet/shower, cooking essentials, s’mores kit, hammock, chairs, awning etc.), the van has really well thought out spaces for storage and lots of hooks for hanging things, beautiful indoor lighting and a bed comfier than our one at home.
We also had our dog with us and she LOVED it. She is usually not a fan of going in the car but during this trip she loved sleeping on the comfy cushions, pillows, and blankets that were provided.
We absolutely loved our road trip around Maine this summer and are so grateful to Mike and Kelly for giving us the perfect way to enjoy it. If you want to get away, place yourself in a campground (or anywhere else) and have an adventure, choose this campervan. We will definitely be doing so again!

We had such a fantastic time in Mike and Kelly's van. We had never used a camper van before and it exceeded our expectations. It was such a cozy home base on wheels for our travels up to the White Mountains. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen and the fridge let us cook dinner at our campsite. The hot shower was very convenient too. They also included some nice touches that made it feel extra homey (like board games, twinkle lights and the awning.) Definitely would recommend this van to anyone who is considering a camper van rental. Mike and Kelly were also very responsive in getting everything organized.

Awesome campervan. A little rough -riding on the highway and cruise control would have helped but otherwise you are pretty self -sufficient in this campervan. Lots of amenities like lighting, gas stove, large water tank, sink with filter, wood-working inside, locked cabinet doors - the owners did a nice job retro-fitting this campervan!
