Get there and enjoy the real Alaska with this 2024 Scout Camper. This minimalist approach is a sleek and simple way to enjoy your Alaskan adventure. Scout campers are designed to be light, simple, warm and cozy, as well as easy to use. Put this on the back of your truck or rent one of ours and you have the perfect 4x4 adventure RV. The camper has four ratchet type tie downs that quickly connect to the four corners of your trucks tie downs. That's it, so simple!!!All power is supplied internally by a Yeti 3000x power system and charged by solar. Optionally you can plug into your vehicles tow light receptacle (we include 4 pin, 5pin, and 7pin adapters) to charge the Yeti and run the three top running lights.A couple ways to rent our trucks. You can rent the whole package on outdoorsy, or rent the camper here and the truck on Turo.We aren't allowed to provide links on Outdoorsy, but go to our Facebook page Little Su Acres LLC and they are provided there. Also you can search Outdoorsy after you put in your details by scrolling over to "more" and then scroll to the bottom for "Keyword search" and enter "Marmot" or "Fox" and you will find the packages. On Turo you can find our trucks by searching in Wasilla, AK and then narrowing down the search to truck, Ram 2023 1500. You will find our listings as a grey and red 2023 Ram 1500 Classic. If you rent on separate sites, it's no problem, just send us a message and we can have the camper on the truck ready to go for you.If you decide to use your own truck please see our FAQ on what type of truck you need. These campers are great for being outside the normal seasonal RV rental season in Alaska (May 15-September 15) because you don't have to worry about water systems freezing up. They are well insulated four season campers which makes them fantastic for backcountry skiing, snowmachining, hiking, snowshoeing or whatever you have to throw at the Alaskan Fall, Summer, and Spring. If you are looking to be able to easily explore Alaska and blend into your surroundings whether urban, rural, or wilderness with minimum impact, then this is it.What's includedHeater

Q.What kind of truck do I need?
A.
Any 1/2 ton pickup or bigger will do. F-150, Chevy 1500, Ram 1500, Tundra or larger etc. Although Scout advertises the Yoho to fit on Tacomas, Mavericks, Rangers etc. they do not recommend them without a suspension upgrade. You will need four tie down attachments in your bed. Any thing that a ratchet strap can attach to. These will fit on anything from a 5' to 8' bed. On 6' or less beds, you will have to leave the tailgate down or remove it. The tailgate makes a nice "porch".
