• Have a blast in this fun little trailer.
• Our trailer is suitable for a maximum of three adults, or two adults and two small children, as the upper bunk cannot hold too much weight.
• There’s a mandatory $75 cleaning fee for every renter to ensure the trailer is clean and safe. If the trailer isn’t returned in the same condition it was rented, additional cleaning charges may apply.
• Please open windows with care
• Pick up time is actually 8AM not 9AM
• Please note that the return time for the trailer is 4 PM on Sundays and Mondays. A a late return fee equivalent to an additional night’s stay will be applied for any returns past 5pm. This policy is in place to ensure fairness for other renters who may be affected by delays.
If you plan to return the trailer on any day other than Sunday or Monday, please contact me directly for further instructions.
•Please let us know what type of hookup does your vehicle have? (You’ll need a 2-inch trailer hookup.)
• Please refrain from smoking inside the trailer.
• Due to our son's allergies, we kindly ask that no pets (dogs or cats especially) are brought inside the trailer.
• Remember to completely empty and clean out the compostable toilet after every few uses, and ensure it's spick and span when returning the camper.
• Before moving the trailer, make sure all cupboards and drawers are securely closed.
• Make sure to fill the water refillable tank under the sink before using the sink. It's not ideal for the trailer sink to run dry, so keeping it filled will ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Please contact us here if you need anything before your trip. Do not arrive at our home without prior notice, as we often cannot pre-show the trailer due to ongoing rentals, and it may result in a wasted trip for you.
• Rental Guests are responsible for any broken or damaged items provided with Rocky during your rental.

How many people can stay in this trailer?

Our trailer can comfortably accommodate four people: two adults and potentially two children. The cute little upper bunk is awesome, but it’s really best suited for kids rather than full-sized adults. I’ve stayed up there with my son before, but I’d say the maximum weight limit for the upper bunk is about 180 pounds. So, the trailer is ideal for two adults and either one teenager or two younger children. If you have any questions about the sleeping arrangements, just let me know!

Can this trailer be rented by someone without any experience driving a trailer?

Even though our trailer is lightweight and designed to be easily towed by an SUV or six-cylinder vehicle, we do require that at least one person in your rental party has prior experience driving, towing, and parking trailers. This experience requirement helps ensure the safety of both you and the trailer during your trip.

I love being a mom to an adventurous nine-year-old son who has a passion for raising money to sponsor sea creatures. Earlier this season, we purchased our amazing little trailer that my son named "Rocky: Rolling Funder" to follow the J-pod of Orcas migrating along the West Coast of Canada into the US. So far we have even made a magical trip to the Whale Museum in Friday Harbour. My son has sponsored three of the J pod's orca calves, making our travels to watch these majestic creatures thrive so much more meaningful and easy.
