Denali's Doorstep is the name we've chosen for our 24 ft Alaskan motorhome, because it is what takes us to our favorite places in Alaska... and all we have to do is step out the camper door! With large holding tanks, sleeping for 6, and plenty of storage, you and your family will be enjoying Alaska in the most comfortable and exciting way possible! As a 20+ yr Veteran Air Force family, we've explored almost every major road in the state, from the North Slope to the tip of Homer! We love Alaska so much that we changed our residency, put down roots, and purchased a piece of property just outside of Cantwell. We'd love to share that amazing piece of property with you as part of your experience in the RV. Just ask us about it.When booking your trip, unless you're very experienced at RV camping, we suggest reserving a "full hookup" site at the campground, or at least an "electric and water" site. You'll be much more comfortable! IF you're an experienced RV enthusiast, our generator and holding tanks allow you to experience the perfect RV for boondocking on the Alaska road system. With so much to see and do in Alaska, you'll hate wasting the daylight sleeping! But there's nothing better than being able to just pull over and take a quick nap when you get sleepy. A 10 minute nap does wonders while your family prepares lunch in the kitchen. We know you're going to Love your Alaskan adventure in Denali's Doorstep and thank you for trusting us with your vacation!Note: We do not allow the RV to travel the Denali Highway.Note: We have had troubles with our fridge lately. While we wait for the parts to come in our work around is to send you with our cooler and some ice. The fridge is still able to keep ice frozen (as a cooler) for 3 to 4 days. What's includedWe supply everything in the camper you'll need to have a great vacation! The camper will come completely stocked with camping chairs, linens, towels, dishes, a portable propane grill, and even some basic cooking spices. And don't worry about the virus. The camper is sanitized to Covid-19 standards between each rental and supplied with fresh linens. All you need to bring is your own shampoo, food, hiking boots, and sense of adventure!RecommendationsMost of our guests find it easiest to just grab an Uber from the airport to us. We're in Willow near the Nancy Lake State Recreational Area. Alternatively, and depending on schedule, we can deliver it for a fee.At pick-up we will walk you step by step through every system to ensure you know exactly what you're doing, and that you'll be safe doing it.From there - we LOVE the Willow Area with the Nancy Lake State Park System, the Talkeetna Area, and of course Denali National Park!Other things to noteNo Smoking - but Pets are allowed.

Frequently asked questions

Q.

Can you deliver to the Airport

A.

We're 1.5 hrs from the Anchorage Airport - but due to our schedule we are NOT able to deliver the RV. Most of our guest find it easiest to take an Uber to and from our location in Willow. Some have rented a car for a day, but most have just grabbed an Uber - about $95 each way.
