2021 Jayco Jay Flight
Our sweet little "Miel" (Spanish for honey) is a Jayco Jay Flight SLX, the best-selling travel trailer in the US. Find out why when you take her on an adventure to the mountains, seashore or anywhere your heart desires. She's almost brand new, just recently listed on Outdoorsy - no mildewy smells or unreliable appliances. At a dry weight of only 3,200 lbs she's easy to pull with most SUV's or pick-ups, and her excellent hitch system keeps her right on track without any weaving or swaying. The sizeable, ready-made queen and two bunk beds (60 x 80 x 4"; 30 x 76 x 5") with curtains provide privacy, comfort and support whenever you want to lay down to relax or sleep, even if others are up and about. She's got a fiberglass body; electric power awning and tongue jack; and ample, 3.0 cu ft refrigerator raised up to a convenient height. We provide a Coleman stove and screened canopy tent that you can load on our front-end luggage carrier and set up at the campsite, so you're comfortable outdoors as well as indoors. With an economical rental fee and unlimited free mileage Miel is ready to take you on an adventure! Note: There is a special fee of $100 added on from Nov 15 through March to cover de-winterizing and re-winterizing the trailer for use during this time of potential freezing.
What's included
A small cargo rack mounted in front on the A-frame can carry our Coleman two-burner propane stove and, if needed, our portable generator. A screened canopy tent is also available. We provide sheets, pillowcases, pillows, blankets, bath towels, paper towels, and toilet paper if these are desired. We charge a $10 fee to wash the pillow cases, sheets and towels if these are used and returned without washing . We also provide simple kitchen and campfire accessories, including: a large pot and frying pan, 1 wooden stirring spoon and plastic serving spoon, 4 plastic plates and glasses, 4 sets of plastic knives, forks and spoons, long tongs and roasting forks for cooking and roasting marshmallows over a campfire.
Recommendations
We highly recommend Mountain Stream RV Park, five miles north of Marion, NC, which is on I 40 near Asheville. It is a lovely setting with many campsites on a creek, and very well maintained by friendly, helpful staff. A little on the expensive side, but well worth the few extra dollars.
Along the NC seacoast we highly recommend Holden Beach RV Park (HBRV). Their prices are very reasonable and their service excellent. Most of their sites have small live oak trees to provide some shade. There is a little grassy playground, and they sometimes have a movie or some entertainment on Saturday nights. Holden Beach, which is a five minute drive from the campsite, is beautiful, with a large variety of seashells, and is not overwhelmed with people. The town is pretty quiet, but it does have a putt putt course, water park, two good ice cream shops and a few restaurants and tourist shops.
Other things to note

I love hiking and camping, especially with my family of four. I am a professional storyteller, folksinger, balloon twister and square dance caller and a retired children's librarian. I bought our trailer for several reasons: as a way for the whole family to have a level of camping comfort acceptable to them; as an accommodation for my wife and me so I could conveniently do family programs in campgrounds; as a means of earning some extra money by renting out the trailer when we are not using it. We especially like going to the Blue Ridge Mountains, but we enjoy the coastal area as well.

Everything was meticulously maintained. The generator we rented from them aswell was very easy to start and run. Our family had a wonderful time with this camper this weekend. It was quality time for our family that was overdue in this little home away from home. Highly recommended
