We had a fantastic experience using this comfy, cozy campervan! It was so well kitted out and we were able to drive off and return with ease and peace of mind. Thanks so much, Luke!

Amazing rental experience! The van was thoroughly stocked with just about anything one would need for a camping trip, along with some extra goodies like playing cards and hammocks. I really enjoyed using the kitchen pullout and gear. Luke has a great setup for outdoor cooking. Even down to a cutting board. Waking up in the morning and making a hot cup of coffee in any location, was such a flex for me. The bed was super comfortable. We rented the vehicle during a real cool week. It rained off and on and got down to the lower 40's at night. Luke supplied us wuth extra blankets for staying warm and also has the van well insulated. We slept comfortably every night. Luke's communication was prompt and upbeat. I appreciated his general excitement when it came to details and had numerous suggestions for me when it came to planning. I would definitely want to rent from Luke again, if we ever travel back to Maine. Which I hope happens in the future!
Luke’s answer
Thanks for the five star review Annie, and for treating the van so respectfully!

I would give our experience with Maine Van Life more than 5 stars if I could! Luke did more than just rent his awesome van to us, he was also a great help in planning our trip and activities. The van was very convenient, comfortable, and clean! He really supplies everything you could need to camp and the bed in the van was super comfy. The van drove really well, we had no problems mechanically.
Luke’s answer
Thanks for the kind review. Happy to host you in Maine and I’m glad you enjoyed it here.

Big win for Maine Van Life .. Luke is our son and his van had a few days between rentals so we conceded our life long primitive camping adventures to the luxury of a queen matress, comfy bedding and a no need to pack anything for two 40 degree nites in in the Western Maine Mountains.
Luke’s answer
Thanks Old Man! Glad you enjoyed the van - family discount next time you rent!

Q.Is the bed comfortable?
A.
YES! It's a regular queen memory foam mattress, 60" wide X 80" long. Couple that with freshly washed L.L. Bean linens and you'll be snoring in under five minutes!
Q.What's the bathroom situation?
A.
Unfortunately, right now there is no bathroom. I urge campers, skiers and explorers to pre plan parking spots to be near a bathroom at bedtime or wake-up.
Q.Can I get some Maine Van Life swag?
A.
Of course! Ask me about some stickers on hand and sweatshirts to order!
Q.Are pets allowed?
A.
At this time, after a fresh build, pets are not allowed in MVL1. This is subject to change!
