Overall good experience. There were hardly any instructions on how to use items in the camper. It was trial and error to figure things out.
I suggested that they provide RV leveling blocks with the camper in the future. I also suggested they have a step-by-step procedure on how everything works in the camper and supply the tools required to set to RV up.
I would rent from this individual again.

Luke was forthcoming about the broken stove top burner, but he failed to tell us the heater for hot water was broken. We were not able to shower in The airstream cause the water was so cold. Beautiful and clean airstream, just wished the water was hot.

Overall Luke's bambi 22 was just the travel trailer we hoped for, and the perfect location near the white mountains. It was safe for trailering, with good tires and brakes, and no visible exterior wear and tear. The interior condition was immaculate and new which was great. Pick-up and drop-off were ok, but there were a couple areas that fell below expectation considering the price point. The delegate of Luke's who did the pick-up/drop-off was perfectly pleasant and helpful but not fully knowledgeable on this trailer (i never did get to met Luke himself). There were no wheel chocks or boards to level side to side. The delegate did offer wooden blocks but the were far too thick for safely chocking the wheels, and certainly not for leveling. Chocks are pretty standard stuff to have in a trailer, and would have been more secure than needing to use rocks at the campground. The biggest problem was the twin lead acid batteries seemed totally shot and almost immediately went to 10.4 volts when disconnected from a power source. For dry camping, there was no way to keep the refrigerator running without being on a power source constantly. And even the lights, water pump, and tongue jack struggled on the weak batteries. Luke's delegate said it was Propane powered fridge (it was in fact only 12V/115V and not propane) which was frustrating because i would have just kept the food in cooler with ice had i known it was 12V/115V from the start. No adaptor for standard 115V connection was available, other than a homemade one that the delegate was understandably reluctant to part with. The toilet pedal evacuated but its jet did not spray to purge so each use was followed by a cup of water manually. Only one of two stove burners stayed lit, making breakfast more limited/challenging. I know things break in campers frequently, but Luke says his trailers go out 30 times a year, and it appears to be a side business to his main focus. There aren't that many reviews on outdoorsy so I expect other reviews are elsewhere. I'm only speaking from personal experience, and comparing to 2 other rental trailer experiences that went much smoother. Overall nothing was insurmountable and these hiccups didn't prevent a great vacation. But, it could have gone smoother and i think with a few tweaks its possible for Luke's next renters.
