2018 Jayco Jay Feather
Our 2018 Jayco Jayfeather 19XUD is a lightweight travel trailer that provides flexibility for towing and setup configuration. The lightweight aspect means you don't necessarily need a truck. It was towed with a Toyota 4-Runner (6 cyl.) for over a thousand miles for one trip. The Jayfeather has double beds (Front- 60" x 68", Rear- 56" x 68") that fold out of the front and back. If you're only two, you can leave one or both of those beds closed and just use the fold-out couch or transition the table/seating area into a bed. The camper will sleep up to 8, but 5 or 6 is probably the most comfortable. The kitchen area is equipped with a two-burner gas stove, kitchen sink, microwave, and refrigerator (size is small-ish with a small freezer). Hot water if provided via an on-demand water heater (requires constant flow to work effectively) and you can even set the temperature. We just added a double propane tank system this year. The bathroom includes a shower, sink, and toilet. There is even an exterior shower if you need to clean up outside after an active day.The sound system has bluetooth and usb capabilities and allows you to control sound inside and out. Want to bring a TV? Hook-ups inside and out are available. There's even a bracket you can use to mount your TV to the outside wall, under the awning. There is an exterior propane connector so if you have a grill/griddle/heater you'd like to bring, as long as you have a male quick connect fitting, you can use the on-board gas supply. What's includedIncluded:
Kitchen towel, dishcloth, oven mitt.
Silverware and plates (for 4), cutlery, cutting boards, pots/pans.
Percolating coffee pot, electric hot pot for heating water for tea.
Matches/Lighter
2 Tall Kitchen-size trash bags.
Cleaning supplies (dish detergent, spray cleaner, 1 roll of paper towels).
4 rolls of RV-septic-safe toilet paper.
2 camp chairs.
HammockRecommendationsYou will want to consider bringing your own:
Food and beverages.
Towels and washcloths.Bedding/Sleeping Bags and Pillows.
Paper plates, cups, and plasticware if you need more than service for 4 and/or want to limit/eliminate your dishwashing.
Cooler(s)- refrigerator/freezer space is limited.
Extra paper towel roll(s) and trash bags.
Sunblock/Bug Repellant.
Camp table.
Flat-screen TV (probably 30" or smaller)- There are inside and outside hookup options. It's a good idea to bring a coaxial cable.
If internet/WiFi connectivity is important to you, research whether the campground you want to stay at provides this service.

It was a great experience working with Tom. He delivered the RV to our site and supported set up and clean up. RV was in great shape and our family of five had a great time.
