You will never camp in a tent again after a night or two in this van. The bed is super comfortable and easily accommodates two adults. In fact recent renters were each almost six feet tall and report having one of the best night’s sleep ever! (We agree, nights spent in the van always seem to be good ones.) Rover has magnetic curtain panels for the side and rear windows and a hanging curtain to separate the front cabin from the bed, so you'll have plenty of privacy at night. And when you are done sleeping, the bed converts to a couch!The solar panel on the roof reliably powers the fridge and interior lights, and there are ample outlets for mobile devices. The pull-out drawer that stores the Coleman stove, sink and a few plates and cutlery is convenient and thoughtfully designed. The other storage drawers on either side of the van are ample and a great place to store your dry goods.The Thule roof top storage is a nice way to keep gear out of the way.Location: This van is located in Fairfax, California about 40 miles north of San Francisco International Airport (SFO).Mileage: 120/miles a day are included in the rental. Mileage overages charged at $0.35/mile.

Our vans are great on the highway in the 60-75mph range. Please do respect the speed limit and do not follow too closely behind vehicles. If you're driving a van over 9 ft, you’ll notice it handles differently than your car and taller vehicles tip easier than lower ones. Avoid fast maneuvers, sharp turns, driving fast on washboard roads & hard stops. Our taller vans are almost 7 ft in width and 18 ft in length. Please be careful when making turns so that you don't scrape the sides of the vehicle (TAKE WIDE TURNS). When driving downhill, you will notice the vans will automatically downshift to help relieve usage of the brakes.

Liz and Marques are really nice. The Rover was designed and equipped really well. The solar feature was really impressive. My one wish? An armrest for the passenger seat!

Every step of our experience with Out Van About was exceptional. The communication was prompt and clear. The pick-up was easy and well-explained. The van itself was so much fun with utilizing all of the space and creating just what we needed in a small space. The bed was extremely comfortable and linens fresh and clean. Drop off was just as easy as the pick-up. We look forward to our next trip!

This camper van was a great alternative to car camping with a tent. The bed was comfortable and easily accommodated two adults (one over 6ft, the other close to it). The solar panel on the roof reliably powered the fridge and interior lights, and there were ample outlets for our mobile devices. The pull-out drawer that stores the Coleman stove, sink and a few plates and cutlery is convenient, though a little tight on space. The other storage drawers on either side of the van are ample and easily stored our foodstuffs and extra pots, pans or equipment we brought with us. The Thule rack is a convenient addition, and we used it for our clothing bags. We wished the van had a privacy curtain for night-time sleeping, but the owner told us that was in the works. This was our first time renting with Outdoorsy, and we were happy with our experience with the van and with the owner.
