    Frequently asked questions

    Q.

Is there a checklist to follow prior to arriving at camp or before leaving?

    A.

YES! You will find a checklist in the RV and a tutorial video provided by the owner. But here are a few tips: - Always remember to check your stabilizers! - These are the ones underneath the RV. It has happened before that someone would drive away with the stabilizers engaged and break them all... - Exterior storage compartments are locked before you leave - Awning is secured - Check your tires - Turn off the propane tanks - Make sure everything inside the RV is secured -

    Q.

    Do I need a generator?

    A.

Likely if you are dry camping. RVs work with DC and AC electricity. Appliances and outlets work with AC which is provided by shore power. You can get shore power at any camp with hookups or through a portable generator. We provide a generator for an extra fee that can be plugged into the RV. It is one of the quietest generators out there and yet powerful enough to power your needs. HOWEVER, be mindful that you are still in a 30AMP RV. You need to make a responsible use of the electricity.

    Q.

What flexibility is available for picking up and dropping off the RV?

    A.

Times are somewhat flexible. I work from 9-5pm most of the days so if you are picking up the trailer on a weekday I ask for flexibility and to coordinate based on my work schedule. Sometimes I have flexibility during the day, but please coordinate with me directly. I also have a baby at home so it doesn’t make things easier :

    Meet your host, Eduardo

    Member since 2021

Hi, Mariana and Eduardo here! We are from Colombia and Spain. Living in San Francisco for the past 3 years and we love the outdoors and spend time in the woods with our furry friend Shasta. We both work in Real Estate. She is a interior designer and I work in development. Prior to San Francisco, we jumped around Europe, Latin America and US for 7 years.... Finally settled here hopefully for the long term and we just bought an Airstream!
