Discover Park City, UT
Welcome to Park City, Utah. A delight to snowboarders and skiers, Park City is known for its two world-class resorts, Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort. Each year, people from around the globe come to try their hand at these famous slopes. But Park City wasn’t always a ski town. In fact, when the city was founded in 1869, silver mining was the “breadwinner” of this northern Utah city. For several years, Park City was one of the most sought-after mining town thanks to its modern conveniences like running water and electricity. However, in 1898, three-fourths of the town was destroyed by a fire. The fire took its toll on the community and Park City almost became a ghost town. However, in 1963, the city, with some financial assistance from the federal government, began to rebuild. Today, Park City is a haven for winter recreation and even hosted the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.
Though snowboarding and skiing are big in Park City, even if snow sports aren’t your thing, you’ll still fall in love with the town when you book an RV trailer rental in Park City. A little over a 30-minute drive outside of Salt Lake City, the state’s capital, there is something for everyone to enjoy in this mountain city.

Each resort has many amenities and attractions, so scope out their websites and see which resort would be the best for you when you book a luxury RV rental in Park City.
If shredding snowy slopes is not your thing, fret not. About half an hour's drive outside of Park City in Midway, Wasatch Mountain State Park offers visitors 23,000 acres of wilderness. This Utah state park boasts four golf courses, miles of hiking and biking trails, horseback riding, and snowmobiling and snowshoeing during the winter. Wasatch Mountain State Park also has many campsites with full hookups as well as hot showers and modern restrooms, so feel free to bring your RV rental from Park City and stay a night or two.
But if a day on the water is more your thing, then a visit to Jordanelle State Park is in order. This state park in Wasatch County is situated along the shores of the Jordanelle Reservoir with the beautiful Wasatch Mountains adorning the horizon. Opportunities for boating and fishing as well as picnicking and hiking abound at Jordanelle. You can also camp at one of the hundreds of RV-friendly, partial hook-up campsites.
If you rent a motorhome in Park City and decide not to stay at one of the state parks, you can stay at Park City RV Resort — the only RV park within the city limits. The campground features several RV sites with either partial or full hookups, and sites vary between 20, 30, or 50 amp electrical service. Park City RV Resort has many amenities including a general store, laundry facilities, bathrooms with showers, an enclosed dog run, and a dump station. Registered guests also receive access to Wi-Fi.
