First, the host James was great! He is patient, responsive and very informative. This was my first experience and learned a lot. The van was easy to use and in terrific shape with all the things you need to be self sufficient on the road. My dogs were with me and while it was a challenge at times, they had great fun on the adventures during our 8 day trip. It was very convenient to be able to park in a regular spot. You are in good hands with James and his van and would highly recommend!

The perfect California road trip vehicle! Max and Sharon were wonderful hosts, super easy to communicate, and made renting a breeze. They were flexible with my pickup/drop-off which I appreciated. I spent 4 days/3 nights in the van driving up Highway 1 towards Oregon. The van was incredibly easy to drive and comfortable even after long hours on the road. I enjoyed being able to stop along the coast, open the side door, and cook a meal with an incredible view. The composting toilet was convenient for emergencies (especially when it was pouring rain outside) and I found it more appealing/easier to clean than a cassette toilet. Although I didn't get a chance to use the outdoor shower it was great knowing it was there if needed. The queen sized bed was very comfortable and extra blankets helped keep me warm during chilly nights. The van has everything you could need for your vacation and I would rent it again in a heartbeat.
